In 1882 baker Léon Souren opens the doors of his new bakery in Maastricht (the Netherlands). He sells lovely bread and small breads. One of his specialties is the tasteful and very populair risen rye bread, baked in the authenthic stonefloor oven. Next to potatoes, the nutritious and relatively cheap rye bread is for a very long time, the main food for the Dutch population.
Over the years we have developed an even wider choice in bread varieties that are very nutricious, healthy and above all very tasty. In the future, we want to produce our bread in an even more natural way through fewer and fewer additives in our products.
